DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 244th Birthday of the United States Army and the 20th anniversary of the KC Chapter of the Association of the US Army on Saturday\, June 15\, at 5:45 p.m. at the KC Marriott - Downtown - Count Basie Ballroom (200 W. 12th St\, Kansas City\, MO).\n\n\n \n\n\nWe will begin our evening with a reception at 5:45 p.m.\, followed by a program filled with pride\, patriotism and respect for an institution that is older than the nation itself. We will honor the men and women who serve and have served\, as well as recognize the sacrifices of those Soldiers and their families who have given their all. We will also recognize the 20th Anniversary of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of AUSA.\n\n\n\nThe keynote speaker is GEN (Ret) Carter F. Ham\, President and CEO of the Association of the US Army. Mr. Morrill Worcester\, founder of Wreaths Across America and Steve Amerson\, America's Tenor are also honored guests.
